Disappointing And With A Program Bug - Melcon - San Diego, CA
This product is not for anyone who feels they play well, or who wants to learn to play Hold 'Em poker well. Please consider the following in-game actions...br /br /1. On the Button and pre-flop, player lays down AA to a raise and a re-raise. Oh, really? Pre-flop? Which raise was it that represents a better pre-flop hand than AA? Is AA pre-flop not worth a third bet, or at least a call?br /2. On the Button, player lays down 77 with no prior action. Same comment.br /3. Big Blind with 42o cold calls a bet large raise...flop comes 424. Oh, I get it. I know the game has to whittle down the number of players, but a little more subtlety would go a long way.br /br /Want more? I got 'em...as they say...in spades, and examples as ludicrous or more, as the three above. This product is very unrealistic, bordering on the ridiculous.br /br /Now, the program bug. In the middle of a hand, the program forces you into a bet, check or all in...fold is not an option (the FOLD button goes gray), nor can you enter a numerical bet in the window reserved for same. The window becomes frozen with whatever number is in it at the time the flop was exposed.br /br /Anyway, I would not recommend this product to anyone who, as I said, is looking for a purer approach to practicing No-limit Hold 'Em. Most of the real fun associated with this game is to try and figure out what kind of poker player(s) were behind the thinking. I understand tight, but folding top two pair to a raise with no pair, straight or flush showing on the board...Ouch!! So, if you simply want to pass some time away ...br /

The games included in this product are fun and interesting. They are the exact items I was looking for. Unfortunately when it was marked as "compatable with VISTA" there was a mis-statement here. I have had problems with all of the games and have not been able to download the fixes that will help with things like games freezing up, changing screen resolution, and duplicate images causing confusion within the game's play. br /br /While the game is good, the use is hindered quite sharply by this VISTA program, and buyers should have been warned about this. I'm not sure I would have bought this if I would have known that I can't complete games and that playing is often very difficult because of double and triple images. Contacting the solution to problems site has only added to the difficulty and the patches have not worked.

Did not work on PC or Mac - Lillisag - chicago
I had purchased this program along with Hoyle Card Games 2008. It was very unstable on my PC running with XP. It did not work on the mac. tried it on another pc running windows 98 also proved very unstable. Hoyle Card Games is a much, much better product.

Some games have scoring problems - D. M. Flak -
This game had a few issues for me. I have only played six different games and two of them (2 player Golf and Cribbage Solitaire) scored the cards inaccuratley on several occasions. I have not received any email back from their tech support, yet, either. I am going to try to return it for another copy of the same title at Best Buy, hoping it is just an error in my copy. The other games were fun and I think the characters are okay. The prize vault is a very neat feature which I like, too. br / But if you are playing only for the games and don't care about the prize vault (which pretty much just gives you points and some funny little in-game side products) I would highly recommend Hoyle Card Games 2008. It plays very well and all the games work properly. The characters you play against are cool for the Hoyle game, too (I like Roswell, Harley the bear, and the T-Rex).

I love jewel quest so I thought I might like this one to. The game is pretty easy but I play for entertainment not really for a challenge. After you solve the artifacts puzzle you are then presented with a safe that appears to take a 3 digit code. Where are the clues to figure out the code? Is this the end of the game or is there more?br /I'm confused and can't find an answer. Does anybody know? If that's the end I'd say the game is pretty lame.br /Where can I find the answer to this mystery?

Fun but too easy and over to soon - Theresa - Clarksville, TN.
I enjoyed the game while I was playing it but it was pretty easy not much challenge - I didn't pay attention to levels but there were 10 puzzles to solve with many boards attached to each puzzle - only had to re-deal a card game once or twice through out the game the gem boards were a little tougher but not much I did have to give a couple of boards a second or third try. Each time you clear a bar on the solitaire games you earn a 'point' some you have to use to clear rubble but use as few as possible so that you head to gem board with as many as you can - the more you have the more options you have in a gem game because that is timed. The puzzles give you hints to positions of the relics - look the pictures carefully one of them will help you solve the final piece of the puzzle. I enjoyed the game but all in all I would say I was disappointed that it wasn't more challenging and had more levels.

Love the real card game, so this is nice when no human's around to play with you. You can choose to play against 1 or several computer players (I think up to 3? Can't remember now) and choose among 3 levels of difficulty. br /br /There are also several game modes to choose from: Adventure (just a somewhat level-driven game where you can earn awards and unlock different card decks), Classic, Speed (play with 10 cards in stock pile instead of the classic 30) and team play (you with a computer player against another computer player team -- in this mode, you can use both yours and your team-mate's visible cards).br /br /Another reviewer mentioned the computer player not always playing cards they could have played. While I have seen this happen too, I think it really simulates human error pretty well. There are 3 levels of computer player to select -- the easy setting definitely makes mistakes like this, which would allow a child to play against it without getting frustrated by losing every time. The medium level makes those mistakes less often. I haven't tried the hard level yet.br /br /The sound effects are very nice: quiet card sounds, points amassing, bonus, etc, as well as background beach sounds like waves and sea birds -- nothing annoying and everything relaxing.br /br /The only thing I found to criticize is that there is no option to save a game in progress. The adventure mode automatically saves its state when you finish a round, but we can't save a match in progress otherwise. Not a huge deal, but it would have been nice.br /br /(Playing on Vista 32 bit).

This Skip-bo is too easy! - storey gamer -
I am a Skip-bo fan but it is in deed too easy to win. It doesn't save your game so you can return and your opponent doesn't play his cards to win. I also had a lot of trouble opening the game. I usually get hung up on the opening Skip-Bo loading page. I can finally get it to open after starting over 2-3 times.br /

Trojan Attached - C. Sheehan - Napa, CA USA
I downloaded this game and was unable to open it because McAfee quaranteened a Trojan that was attached to it. I researched it (New Malware.ag) and decided to restore it but McAfee would not allow. Amazon should not make programs available that have Trojans or viruses embedded.

Okay game, lousy performance - CochinoRios -
The premise for the game wasn't bad; UNO with a story line attached. However, the actual game play leaves a lot to be desired. It ran sooooooooo slowly at times. That was rather annoying. The thing that really drops the value of this game for me is the fact that it crashes. A lot. You get about half way through the game, and then it starts crashing regularly. I'm really not impressed with this game for that reason. I gave it three stars just because I don't want to say that I don't like it. But it really deserves two. I have a hard time with programs of any kind that crash all the time. It's inexcusable to release them without working out those kind of major kinks.
